A shared dormitory opens the door to one of the most enriching parts of the retreat: connection. By sharing your space, you create bonds that go beyond small talk, offering and receiving support in your personal growth. You'll laugh together, reflect together, and witness each other's transformations. In the quiet of the mountains, these shared moments turn into profound camaraderie — a sense of community that reminds you that you are not alone on your journey.

Earth Room (1 or 2 people)

The Earth Room gives you direct access to the yoga hall and opens onto beautiful mountain views. Inside, you'll find a cozy space with a table and chair, perfect for journaling, reading, or enjoying a quiet moment. Large windows bring in light and look out onto the trees and the mountain range, keeping you close to nature throughout your stay.

River House (1–2 people) – Tucked near the water, this serene space offers privacy, quiet, and intimacy.

Stay in a bamboo cabin by the river with views of the lush forest. It's a space to reconnect — with yourself, with nature and/or with your partner or friend . The cabin includes a spacious terrace just for you, and a private bathroom for your comfort.

what's included

  • Five transformative days and four cozy nights at Fuente Alegre, a hand-built sanctuary tucked in the lush Colombian mountains of Cocorná — where you'll be welcomed like family and immersed in the wisdom of nature.
  • Homemade delicious, healthy meals – 4 nourishing breakfasts, lunches, and dinners made fresh daily, with tropical fruits, garden infusions, and some traditional Colombian flavors. Vegetarian-friendly and adapted to your needs.
  • Daily practices for five days to reconnect with your body, breath, and spirit: gentle breathwork, meditation, somatic movement, expressive dance, journaling, hiking and wild cold water therapy.
  • Ancestral ceremonies — sacred plant offerings (tobacco, mambe, rapé, sananga – always optional), and shared rituals that root you in presence and awaken ancient memory.
  • Guided journeys and teachings drawn from nature's rhythms, ancestral wisdom, and shamanic traditions — including storytelling, reflection circles, and silent time on the land.
  • Small, intimate group experience, allowing space for personal reflection, shared presence, and deep connections.
  • One day trip at the second clearest river of south america and other included activities.
  • Group Transportation to and from the airport at designated times, arriving on December 11th and departing on October 15th.
  • A Gift of Extra Time. We invite you to linger a little longer. After the retreat ends, enjoy one extra night with us at no additional cost — our gift to you. Stay immersed in the peace of Fuente Alegre, rest by the river, and let your experience settle.

what's not included

  • Your round-trip airfare from home
  • Accommodation before the retreat dates (we can offer recommendation if you arrive earlier)
  • Personal, medical or trip cancellation insurance
  • Personal taxi transport to the airport outside of scheduled group transport
  • Tips and gratuities.
  • Souvenirs, phone calls, taxis, laundry, snacks etc.
  • Toiletries and personal care items (please bring eco-friendly products – we are in an eco-friendly environment)

Cancelation policy

(A) Your registration will be complete when we have received the payment for a deposit equivalent to 50% of the total amount of the retreat value. (B) Refund policy: 60% deposit refund for cancellation before October 1st, 30% deposit refund for cancellation between October 2nd and November 1st. 0% deposit refund for cancellation between November 2nd, 2025 and the retreat starting date. You can also transfer your spot to another person. (C) Fuente Alegre reserves the right to cancel any trip prior to departure for any reason whatsoever, including an insufficient number of participants or logistical problems (e.g. acts of God, war, strikes, force majeure, etc.), which may impede trip operations. The refund of all payments as described shall release Fuente Alegre from any liability. In any event, Fuente Alegre's maximum liability shall be limited to the amount you paid to Fuente Alegre. (D) Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended whenever making travel plans. Keep in mind that once your trip payments become non-refundable as delineated in our cancellation policy above, there will be NO refunds, and you will need to report your cancellation to your trip cancellation insurance provider for reimbursement. That is fully your responsibility.
