Lara Grofils
Lara has been dancing for over 25 years. In the last decade, with training in dance therapy, she has transformed into a holistic artist, combining body techniques and somatic tools to open new pathways of expression and liberate the inner self.
As a practitioner of Somatic Therapy, her approach integrates movement with psychology and neuroscience, fostering a deeper connection with oneself, improving relationships with others, and promoting a greater understanding of the world. Certified in the Trauma Conscious Yoga Method℠, Lara guides individuals to recognize and release unconscious traumatic responses stored in their bodies, helping them let go of what no longer serves them.
Diego Colot Duque
A man deeply connected to nature, Diego’s life revolves around honoring and protecting the natural world. His profound bond with the elements shapes his daily life, inspiring his work and guiding his personal rituals. A lover of water and the invigorating power of cold showers, he has developed tools to calm the mind, cultivate resilience, and foster a deeper connection with the body.
More than a decade ago, Diego encountered the medicine of Yagé, an experience that profoundly transformed his path. Since then, he has dedicated himself to serving and supporting others during ceremonies, humbly learning from elders and deepening his understanding of ancestral wisdom. His service is rooted in respect, presence, and a commitment to holding sacred space for healing and transformation.
As an artisan, Diego creates exquisite handcrafted objects using elements from nature, primarily wood. His work reflects a harmonious balance between creativity and sustainability, bringing out the unique beauty of natural materials.
As the visionary behind Fuente Alegre, Diego has poured his heart and dedication into creating a space that embodies harmony with nature and honors the ancestral teachings that have shaped his journey.
Taita Libardo Matapí Yucuna
Traditionally known as Yawikapí, "Tiger Necklace," he was born on July 20, 1978, in La Pedrera, Amazonas, Colombia. A member of the Tiger Clan, Taita Libardo has dedicated more than 25 years to sharing ancestral medicine and traditional teachings.
His training began at a very young age under the guidance of his father, the renowned Taita Luis Eduardo Matapí Yucuna, with whom he studied for 15 years, strengthening a legacy based on respect and connection with the traditions of his people.
Throughout his life, he has traveled through various territories of the Colombian Amazon, sharing and learning from great wisdom keepers of indigenous communities such as the Murui, Corebajú, Kichwa, Macuna, and Siona. For over 17 years, he also worked as a bilingual teacher and traditional authority, imparting not only academic knowledge but also spiritual values and healing practices.
The Taita shares the medicines of yagé (capi in his language), mambe, ambil, rapé, and kambo—essential elements for restoring harmony between body, mind, and spirit.
His holistic approach honors ancestral processes and promotes a safe and authentic space for those seeking healing. His mission is to keep his people's cultural heritage alive and pass it on with love to future generations.
